From David Mikula | Inner Circle Autism Network CEO
2024 can best be described as a year of growth for Inner Circle Autism Network.
And all of it is possible only because of the commitment, care, and dedication of the Inner Circle team and the ongoing trust and partnership of the families with whom we have the privilege of serving.
Expanding Our Footprint
This year, we opened three new Oklahoma clinics in Moore, Jenks, and N. Edmond, further expanding our capacity to provide life-changing ABA therapy for children with autism and their families.
We also pushed north! We’re expanding our services to a third state – Nebraska – with the opening of two clinics in the Omaha area scheduled for early 2025.
With the success of our family-focused, child-centered ABA model over the last couple of years, we also plan to expand our operations to North Carolina next year and develop additional clinics in Oklahoma. Our goal remains always to have no waitlists so no child or family has to wait for ABA therapy.
Advancing Our Team
The backbone of our success is our clinic staff. Our RBTs and BCBAs are some of the best in the field, and when they succeed and grow, we succeed and grow. In 2024, six of our fieldwork students passed their BCBA exams, taking the next step in their journeys to become a practicing BCBA. Congratulations!
Also this year, six of our Jonesboro clinic RBTs and BCBAs were invited to present research posters at the national Women in Behavior Analysis conference, giving them not only an opportunity to develop professionally but also to position Inner Circle as a national ABA leader.
In addition, in a first for the company, Inner Circle Autism Network received three Culture Excellence Awards from Top Workplaces, recognizing our commitment to developing high-quality teams to achieve our mission while also prioritizing a supportive working environment.
In another first, we launched the Ripple Effect 2024: Inner Circle Clinical Conference for our clinical leadership teams to continue advancing their professional knowledge and embrace of the ICAN values and philosophy.
Building Our Community
Beyond providing ABA therapy and family support within our clinics, ICAN prioritizes community engagement and connection, and in 2024, we continued providing sensory-friendly activities and community education events. We participated in or hosted more than 25 community events, open to any member of the community, including Sensory Snips events in Oklahoma and Arkansas; Autism Walks in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Northwest Arkansas, and Little Rock; and Parent Resource Night and other and community trainings on ABA and autism in Oklahoma City.
Our growth is truly something to celebrate, but making a meaningful difference for children and families is our North Star. This year, more than 20 children graduated from our school readiness ABA programs, and 96 percent of the families we serve told us our ABA therapy improved their child’s quality of life.
It’s a privilege to work with the Inner Circle team and families to achieve our shared goals that every child with autism can say “ICAN” and every family has an Inner Circle. We look forward to what we’ll accomplish in 2025. Together!
