Advancing research opportunities and supporting our staff as champions of ABA therapy is part of Inner Circle Autism Network’s core value of leading by example.

Inner Circle will sponsor the upcoming Women in Behavior Analysis (WIBA) annual conference. This year’s theme is “unlocking opportunities” and features sponsors like Inner Circle that share WIBA’s goal of highlighting and supporting women in the field of behavior analysis through research presentations, mentorship opportunities, and career advancement resources. The conference will be held July 24 – 26 in Atlanta.

“We’re so proud of our staff for their passion for ABA and their efforts to bring their applied work through poster presentations to one of the biggest platforms for applied behavior analysis,” said Sarah Varillas, BCBA, Inner Circle chief clinical officer. “We remain committed to supporting and encouraging our employees to pursue research and presentation opportunities that further their careers and advance the field of ABA therapy.”

Six Inner Circle staff members will present posters across a variety of topics during the conference, including:

  • The Interplay Between Physiological States and Maladaptive Behavior in a 15-year-old Male Diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder

Inner Circle presenters: Korey Stout, Lily C. Darnell, Mallory Shelton, Kayla Rogover

  • The Effect of a Concurrent Schedule of Reinforcement on Response Allocation in a Child Diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder

  • Effectiveness of a Response Interruption and Redirection (RIRD) Procedure for the Treatment of Self-Injurious Behaviors
